City in the Mediterranean coast about 100km south of Barcelona. Founded by the romans (though there are reminders of previous settlements), it lost its importance in the middle ages but currently is expanding as a consequence of its chemical industry. You can find more in Wikipedia. Beside the ruins in the city itself, there is a theme park nearby and, of course, the beach (Salou is about 20 km south).

This is a poster for the official festivity of the city in honour of its patron Sta. Tecla, a woman killed by the romans.
