Lego website

Nathan Saway has transformed a childhood hobby into art .

Translated from Vilaweb.cat:

"'Brick Artist' is Nathan Sawaya' interesting page, an artist making spectacular lego constructions. All started on 1978 Christmas, when Santa Claus brought him a first kit of this construction game. Shortly after, his house was transformed into Lego City and it became full of ships, buildings, skyscrappers, train stations and helicopters built with the small pieces.
Several years after, Sawaya is an authentic artist, and his sculptures, of much bigger sizes, represent buildings and real characters: Alfred Hitchcock, Han Solo, the Brooklyn bridge, a T-rex...

Like any artist, Sawaya made an auto-portrait. Several newspapers became interested on his hobby like Los Angeles Times and Newsweek. David Letterman interviewed him on Late Show."
