Companies to unify debts

Here in Spain, I see in the publicity a lot of ads about consultories that offer a reunification of all debts. Obviously, this is a trap and I think if you contract their services, you end up with a bigger debt in the long term. Here in Spain there is a lot of busines of speculators trying to make benefit from the suffering and necessity of the middle class families that are asfixiated by the economic recession. Personally, I am happy to have a good relation with my parents so I have a secure roof. If in the future this changes, I may be forced to rent and therefore enter a path to poverty.
